What is KCR?

KCR is a manual therapy technique which gently releases ‘tensions’ around various joints of the body.  KCR can hep to stretch and realign the body.  By bringing the body into a better physical balance KCR can provide a high level of relief from sciatica, shoulder pain, back pain, headaches, leg pain, foot pain and enhance your energy level.

KCR can help with;

KCR can aid and relieve a large number of discomforts and disorders such as:

  • Chronic Back Pain
  • Scoliosis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • IBS
  • Migraines
  • Teeth Grinding
  • Improve alignment and walking pattern
  • Help reduce discomfort associated with arthritis and tendinopathies

Our Sports Therapist JD specialises in KCR and our patients are absolutely loving the results.  We have seen people delighted with the effects of KCR, one lady was able to live pain free after years of suffering back pain relating to scoliosis whilst for another elderly gentleman the relief in being able to lean forward to tie his shoe laces was a huge win.  KCR works on all of the joints of the body therefore helps relieve many different types of injuries.

The Foot and Leg Clinic work by combining our Biomechanical Assessment with KCR. This allows you to understand how your body is aligned and why you are suffering aches/pains and/or awkward gait.  The Biomechanical Assessment may highlight the need for you to wear foot orthotics or perhaps attend foot mobilisation sessions or perform foot/leg/hip strengthening exercises.  All of the aforementioned treatments will enhance the bodies alignment and therefore muscles patterns.  KCR works to a similar goal however is the manual therapy that is performed to physically “straighten” the body.  Your foot orthotics, foot mobilisation and strengthening exercises will all work to “hold” the KCR treatment in place, allowing for a long lasting affect and an all-round healthier, more efficient body.

If symptoms do not resolve, you should consult your doctor.
