Forefoot injuries are most often associated with over loading of the forefoot due to poor foot posture, such as over pronation or foot supination.

Stress fracture are a common forefoot injury which we treat in clinic and can be the result of sudden impact such as dropping a heavy object on the foot, or result from repeated application of increased stress to the same area of the forefoot which over time, results in a stress fracture.
