Often elbow pain or arm pain is resultant from a biomechanical ailment at the neck or shoulder. A trapped nerve higher up the arm or back can result in pain in a distal location.
Our physiotherapists carry out a detailed assessment to analyse the reason for your injury before devising your treatment plan. There is an array of possible treatments for back pain, shoulder pain and arm pain, and the physiotherapist may perform acupuncture, massage therapy, and advice regarding a stretch and strengthening programme.
The orthotist at The Foot and Leg Clinic may prescribe a hand support, elbow support, shoulder support or back support if the joint requires stabilisation or improved alignment.
