JD Peacock

Our Sports Therapist JD is another great member of our team. Graduating from Glasgow University with a BSc in Sports Science & Physiology JD is also qualified in Sports Therapy and has been qualified in Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) since 2014.  JD loves to learn and has added many additional qualifications, including his pitchside first aid, a diploma in Sports Massage, he is a certified Trigger Point Therapist including Muscle Energy Release Techniques and a study of Anatomy of Sports Injuries, he has taken part in additional strapping courses including kinesiology taping.

JD splits his time between working as a Sports Therapist at the Body, Foot and Leg Clinic and Airdrie Football Club.

JD has also previously spent time working with Albion Rovers, Queens Park & Hamilton Academicals male first teams and Scottish Football Association’s South West Region for their under 14 & under 16 elite development girls squads.  During this time he has gained experience with many injuries including but not limited to sprains, strains, broken bones, ligament damage, neck and shoulder injuries, chronic pain and alignment issues.

JD loves sport and still plays competitive football, albeit in an over 35 league now and loves spending time with his wife and little boy.  The Body, Foot and Leg Clinic snapped JD up, not purely based on a long list of qualifications and his obvious passion for his work but for the calm, caring approach he brings to his patients – what a gem!
