Laura graduated with a 1st class honors in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Strathclyde University in 2014. Following this she moved to London to work within the NHS and privately. This gave Laura a wide range of orthotic experience including biomechanics, neuromuscular, diabetic and rheumatology. But she has spent most of her career working in paediatrics. Laura was the orthotic clinical service lead at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she specialised in scoliosis, foot and ankle and orthotic treatment post SDR before she moved back to Scotland in 2022. Since moving back she has been working in the NHS and joined us in 2025. Outwith the clinic Laura will be found taking part in some form of sport. She now plays (social) hockey having played most sports as a child – mainly gymnastics and horse riding. But if you suggest any sporting challenge she will struggle to say no – so please don’t encourage her. If she’s not playing sport she will be spending time with her family or training her dog with useless but cute tricks.
